Extreme 120-Minute Fire Protection

The Z2218 is designed to endure catastrophic fire events. It is furnace-tested to withstand an exterior temperature of 1850°F for two full hours. During this rigorous test, the internal temperature is proven to remain below 350°F, safeguarding paper documents (which char at 405°F) and currency. This thermal integrity ensures that even in the event of a total structural loss, your vital records and assets will remain intact. For added assurance, the safe includes a Lifetime Replacement Warranty if it is ever damaged in a fire.

Industrial-Grade Burglary Defense

Security is anchored by a double-layered defense system. The exterior door features a 3-way interlocking bolt system with massive bolts extending into the safe walls at the top, bottom, and opening side, plus deadbolts on the hinge side. The interior "B-rated" money safe features its own triple boltwork and a specialized hard plate to thwart drilling. Both the inner and outer doors are equipped with UL Listed Group II combination locks and independent relocking devices that deadlock the safe if the back cover is tampered with or knocked off.
