The AMSEC BFX6024 is a high-security powerhouse designed specifically for owners who need elite vault protection in a compact, closet-friendly footprint. As part of American Security’s premier BFX series, this safe features a massive 3/8” solid steel plate door and a 2” thick composite body. Engineered to withstand real-world break-in attempts, the BFX6024 combines industrial-grade steel with refined craftsmanship to provide a fortress for up to 17 long guns.

Proudly made in the USA at American Security’s Fontana, California plant, this safe carries a UL Level 1 RSC Burglary Rating and features a sophisticated gear-driven bolt system that engages 14 massive 1.5” chrome-plated locking bolts on all four sides of the door.

Certified 120-Minute Fire Defense

The BFX6024 doesn't just resist fire—it outperforms most safes in its class. Independently certified by Intertek (ETL) for 120 minutes of fire resistance at 1200°F, it utilizes AMSEC’s proprietary DryLight® concrete insulation to create a seamless, poured heat barrier. Protection is further enhanced by a dual-seal system: a high-temperature silicone seal and an intumescent Palusol® heat-expanding seal that swells when exposed to heat to block out smoke and flames, keeping internal temperatures below 350°F.

Inside, the BFX6024 features a highly flexible Flex™ interior, allowing you to adapt shelves and racks for rifles, shotguns, and accessories. New for 2025, all BFX models include a refined steel-gray faux leather interior with hand-stitched detailing. To ensure maximum visibility, the safe is equipped with a mirrored back wall and a factory-installed motion-sensing LED light kit. The safe also includes the Premium Door Organizer (PDO), which provides quick-access storage for handguns and a dedicated slot for an additional long gun directly on the door.
