The AMSEC BFX7240 is a premier, large-capacity security fortress designed for the collector who demands commercial-grade protection in a refined residential safe. Standing over 71 inches tall, the BFX7240 offers 25.8 cubic feet of internal storage, providing ample room for up to 40 long guns. Engineered with a 3/8” solid steel plate door and a 2” thick composite body, this 1,516-pound vault delivers a level of physical defense that far exceeds standard residential safes.

Proudly made in the USA, the BFX7240 features a sophisticated Active 4x Locking System with massive 1.5” chrome-plated bolts that engage on all four sides of the door, ensuring maximum resistance against pry attacks and forced entry.

Certified 120-Minute Fire Defense

The BFX7240 provides industry-leading thermal protection, independently certified by Intertek for 120 minutes of fire resistance at 1200°F. This elite performance is achieved through the use of proprietary DryLight® concrete insulation, a seamless poured barrier that eliminates the air gaps found in traditional drywall-lined safes. The defense is reinforced by a dual-seal system, including a high-temperature silicone seal and an intumescent Palusol® heat-expanding seal that creates an airtight barrier to block heat, smoke, and flames from entering the safe.

Flexible Capacity & Luxury Interior

The BFX7240 is designed for maximum organization. Its tall and wide interior can be configured to hold 38 long guns plus 2 on the door (Standard) or up to 60 guns (All-Gun configuration). The interior is finished with a mirrored back wall for superior visibility and features a factory-installed motion-sensing LED light kit. The safe includes the Premium Door Organizer (PDO), which maximizes storage with pouches for handguns, jewelry, and documents, as well as a long gun storage system for two additional rifles on the door.
